This project consists on developing an automatic night driving system in a simulation environment. The simulator I have used is TORCS. TORCS is an Open Source car racing simulator written in C++.
It is used as an ordinary car racing game, as a IA racing game and as a research platform. The goal of this project is to implement an automatic driving system to control the car under night conditions using computer vision. A camera is implemented inside the vehicle and it will detect the reflective light-markers placed along the roadside. The car is oriented only with the lights the camera can see.
